Our lake turned into an ocean the other day.  I took these pictures after the waves started to subside a little, but let’s just say they were huge.  All the boats that normal float moored to the beach were broken and when Lisa and I went for our bath, we almost drowned (and were swept several dozen feet down shore…all the energy of an ocean with none of the buoyancy).  There was even an undertow.  The next morning all sorts of dead fish were washed up on shore.  Hamimu (my intrepid assistant) made a game of chucking them back into the ocean by their tails.
